Cameron Spence Wins Ontario NDP Nomination in Guelph

GUELPH - New Democrats in Guelph gathered to nominate Cameron Spence as their candidate for the upcoming provincial election. Cameron Spence understands the challenges Guelphites are facing. As a father, partner, and lifelong renter, he’s living the affordability and housing crisis alongside the community. Cameron is ready to bring real solutions to Queen’s Park.

“I am honoured to be nominated as the candidate for Guelph,” said Spence. “I’m ready to be the voice for Guelph and serve my community with everything I have. With Marit Stiles’ vision and leadership, and the support of a strong party, we can build a city and a province that everyone can afford.”

  • After first dropping out of high school, Cameron went on to earn a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Global Health and Social Medicine from King’s College London.
  • He is an expert in psychiatric home treatment and is committed to bringing real solutions to vulnerable communities in Guelph.
  • Cameron has worked in universities and locally in Guelph at Polycon and Well.ca.
  • He is an active member of the Guelph NDP and supports local charities, including the Royal City Mission and Your Downtown Guelph Friends.
